day two...three...four!?

The last few days have been an absolute blur…

I seem to be sleeping about 4/5hrs a night max, and only eating one meal a day – I’m just not hungry or sleepy here! We’ve all been staying up till 4am at least drinking beer for 12000dong (about 35p) and hanging out in ‘Backpack’ where all the travellers seem to be as it’s easy to meet up with everyone – our group is about 30 now.

Even though the city is huge we keep bumping into each other and other travellers we have met (like Brian and Brian the two Americans). The city is totally hypnotic and the whole place smells really strongly of incense.   

Here is a bit of a summary of the last few days anyway:

-        Beer drinking bunny at 4am in the middle of Siagon

 

-        Roof top bar, my first bowl of Pho

 

 

-        ‘clubbing’ at 6am in Buffalo Bar

 

 

-        Flowers for new year

So far I have done absolutely nothing touristy at all! I have just been trying to get to grips with life here.
